Christmas is coming...

Mom's at it already...upstairs untangling Christmas lights and exclaiming "I forgot I had that" as Dad huffs and puffs all of the Christmas boxes upstairs. You've got to laugh. Christmas really has become a beacon of light in a world that seems to be turning increasingly negative, it is really no wonder lights and decorations are being brought out even before the Hallowe'en candy has been put away.
Since we can't decorate tonight (we are waiting for Tricia- she hasn't been able to help decorate for the last five years) we did a modern interpretation of the christmas light display. Strung out on the floor like a Modern Art Museum. Pretty don't you think?

Dolly Parton's 1984 song says it all....
I'll be home with bells on
I'll be home with bells on
Trim the tree and wrap the presents turn the Christmas music on
This Christmas I'll be home with bells on
I've traveled around this country crossed the waters deep and wide
Made lots of friends and memories brought joy to other's lives
It's Christmas time again another year has come and gone
And I can't keep from wonderin' how the old folks are at home
When the snow is on the meadow and the sleigh bells jingle bright
And the kids are singing jingle bells around the Christmas lights
As daddy stokes the fire and mama puts the turkey on
There ain't nothing going to slow me down this Christmas I'll be home

Love
Sandra

I wish I were there to help decorate, I love that Dolly Parton song. Sunny here today, I have some Christmas baking done, and one parcel off, now to start the cards. Have fun decorating. Love Flo
