Well the day finally arrived. I graduated from Mount Saint Vincent University with my B.A. on Friday, May 12th. I graduated "With distinction" which I am very proud of. Ralph, Sandra, Tricia, Velvet and Donna were at the Convocation ceremony. The sun was shining and everything went great.
We had a party that night at the house. Clarence, Carol and family was down from the Branch, Doug and Artie from Truro, my nephew Marty and his wife Kim and son Kyle from Shelburne and many others from the Halifax area.
Everyone keeps asking me "What next?'. I don't know yet but there are already things in the works. I think that I will start working on my Masters of Education in Lifelong Learning which makes sense seeing that I seem to be such a lifelong learner.
Flo, Fred, Ashley and C.J. were over for supper. Flo and Fred are babysitting (while actually teenager sitting) because Dean and Marnie are house hunting in Petawawa, Ontario. They are posted back there in July. We are invited to Flo's tomorrow night for supper. Sandra and her friend Sarah who is visiting from Ontario will be coming out to go with us. Tricia and Joe are going to stay here and have band practice. Trish and Joe are moving over to Irene and Bob's condo on Thursday for two weeks. They are going to stay there while Irene and Bob are out west visiting their RCMP son Tony.
I want to thank everyone reading this blog who was part of making my graduation day such a celebration and thank you all for your good wishes.
