Halloween Eve

Hello everyone. It is Monday evening, the night before Halloween. Ralph bought 20 chocolate bars today which will be more than enough for the few kids that we will get here. We used to get so many in Dartmouth, at least 150 and here we are lucky to get 10. The houses in this subdivision are that much farther apart that I guess the kids do not want to walk any distance.

Do any of you do those "magic eye" pictures. You know the ones where if you stare at them long enough and in the right way you can see a 3-D image in them. Well if you do enjoy them I found a site on the internet that you might enjoy. Just go to http://www.eyetricks.com/3dstereo.htm and see what you can see (:

My sister Valerie called me at work today to tell me that my Mom is in the hospital again. She is in Yarmouth hospital and they are keeping her until they do a Cat Scan on Wednesday. She has been suffering with a pain in her side for two weeks and never let on to any of us how bad it was until last night when it got so bad they called the ambulance to take her in. They gave her demerol for the pain but haven't done much since. At least, thank God, the hospital strike was averted that was supposed to happen here on Wednesday. Hopefully the Cat Scan will show nothing and she will be able to go home.

The wind and rain on the weekend did not really amount to much. Didn't even take all the leaves off of our trees. Tricia and Joe heard the wind more than us as they are on the 20th floor of a downtown apartment building. We got San all moved on Saturday so now she can concentrate on finding a nice, new place. We have told her to take her time looking this time and find something really suitable.

Ralph is curling right now and when he gets home he and San are going to carve the pumpkins. I will take a picture and put it here on the blog.

So long for now.

Sorry to hear about your Mom, Doris.
We have the roofers this morning, what a racket! They did the front yesterday.

I have one of those books on 3D magic eye. They are cute. I usually am able to see the picture. I know some can't. Thanks.
