Rain, rain go away!!!

Okay, I've had enough. If it continues to rain , shower, be foggy and cold here in Nova Scotia I am going to have to pack my bags and move to Alberta with everyone else. Okay, maybe I exaggerate a little, I won't move but this weather is making more than myself wonder why we continue to live in this part of the world. We are having such a cold, rainy Spring here. Same as last year if I remember correctly. It has been so long since we have seen the sun that we are all getting mildewed.

Sandra, Ralph and I drove down to Shelburne and Barrington this morning. It was a horrible and dangerous drive what with the fog and pouring rain. Apparently it was too much for some as on our way home we were detoured off the 103 between exits 5 and 6 because of an earlier accident. Must have been a doozy as the road was closed off for a good portion of the day.

Tonight, there is not much going on here. San is in the living room watching a movie, Ralph is in the family room watching T.V. and Joe and Tricia are in the basement watching a movie. That only leaves the tiny little t.v. up in our bedroom for me so I guess that is where I will be going lol.

Jake had a tick on him tonight. I don't know how Ralph ever saw it with all of his fur but he did. It was just above his eye. Thankfully Ralph was able to pull it off. We had no idea that ticks were even in this part of the province but apparently they are. Ralph is going to ask the Vet when he takes Jake in for his checkup on Wednesday why the Sentinel pill that Jake takes for flea control would not also repell ticks.

Ralph was in Winnipeg all week and this week coming he leaves on Thursday for a fishing trip to Newfoundland with his winter Curling team.

Must be nice to have so much time off work. Oh well someday I will be in that position, but not for a while. Still have to keep bringing in the bacon (and cooking it too).

We are having some wet weather, but not as much as you guys. Fred only missed one day of golf last week, as I told you earlier, Friday was a lovely sunny day, and yesterday we had sun and 22 degrees until about 3 pm, when the wind picked up and we got some rain. It isn't raining this morning, but we had quite a bit in the night. So off to church this morning, and then I believe we are heading to the cottage. Have a good one, Love Flo

We had a cold wet day today too. Our weather keeps going up and down on the thermometer. We never know what to expect these days.
Hopefully we will have a warm sunny summer.
