What was I thinking to post something like I did about the beautiful weather we were having here in Halifax. Serves me right that we have what you see on the left here this morning. Ralph is out there now trying to get to the end of the driveway and Joe and Trish are getting ready to go out to shovel front and back decks. Jake is patiently waiting to go out with them to play in the snow.
Everything is shut down in Halifax today. No work for anyone. All schools and businesses are closed and Metro transit buses were pulled off the roads this morning. It has mostly stopped snowing now but it is still blowing around out there. The snow started last night around 7:00 p.m. We did not lose power which is wonderful. Don't know about the rest of the Metro area as I haven't been listening to the radio.
In case you have forgotten what it looked like in our front yard just a week ago scan down to my post from the 22nd of January. Quite a difference huh.

Yes winter is here, but 1st Feb is not bad to start winter. We got much less snow, but we have the high winds. Good for a day off for you guys. Love to all, Flo
Boy you got lots of snow. We have had snow all winter. Our buses didn't go Monday but it was freezing rain.
